Tito Carbonelli Hernandez is a Houston-based saxophonist, woodwind specialist, and vocalist whose work moves fluidly between jazz, popular music, and sacred traditions. Trained at the Manhattan School of Music and currently serving as an adjunct professor at Texas Southern University, Tito blends technical mastery with a soulful, expressive voice that feels both contemporary and timeless.
Deeply rooted in performance and education, Tito is an active presence in Houston’s creative landscape. His collaborations with jazz ensembles, genre-blending groups, and spiritual projects reflect a commitment to artistry that’s both versatile and intentional. He brings a rare mix of discipline, improvisational freedom, and emotional depth to every stage he steps on.
