Houston guitarist Joe Carmouche is one of the city's most respected jazz musicians, known for his expressive touch, deep groove, and soulful phrasing. His performances are dynamic and intentional — guided by feel, musical conversation, and an ability to shape the atmosphere of a room in real time. Born and raised in Houston and rooted in the city's rich jazz tradition, Joe has spent over four decades performing and refining his craft, leading tight, expressive ensembles that balance structure with improvisation.
